Suddenly He Realized…
Eric is eating cheerios and remarks, “these are good for me, right?”
Mom: “yes.”
Eric: “do these have protein in them?”
Mom: “why don’t you check the box and see?”
Eric turns the box and studies the nutrition information for about 30 seconds, then looks at mom gravely and says, “I forgot. I can’t read.”

today as I was frantically trying to unload the fridge because the delivery guys called to say they’d be early, Eric casually mentions, “mom, there are 9 grams of protein in these markers.”
I was all “mmmhmm that’s nice dear.”
then later I realized he was making a joke…our markers are stored in an old oatmeal tin. what a guy!!!
